Category chooses the WordPress category used to build the book. Category sorting only changes how categories are displayed in this app; it does not change chapter order.
Format chooses AZW3, EPUB, FB2, HTML, or TXT. AZW3 uses a real converter when available and otherwise safely falls back to EPUB.
Chapter order chooses oldest first, newest first, or a newly shuffled Random edition.
Font Size is the baseline size for the whole book. Medium is the original size. Very Small, Small, Large, and Very Large scale the entire typography relative to Medium.
Auto-fit one page works with Font Size rather than replacing it. It applies a bounded per-chapter multiplier on top of the selected baseline. The same chapter at Large therefore stays proportionally larger than at Small. Kindle pagination is reflowable, so one physical screen page can never be guaranteed across every device.
Post limit limits the number of chapters. All includes every matching post. With Random order, the full category is shuffled first and the limit is taken afterward.
Book volume is always included in the visible book title as “Vol. N” and in the exported filename as “-VN”. It defaults to 1, but Volume 0 is valid. It is remembered, can be changed manually, and advances by one only after a book is generated successfully, so Volume 0 advances to Volume 1.
Post Details independently controls the post date, post author, and original source URL.
Chapter featured image starts off and is remembered. When enabled, the WordPress featured image for each post is placed above that chapter title when a compatible JPEG, PNG, or WebP asset is available. It does not re-enable inline images from the post body.
Book title timestamp has separate Current date and Current time switches. Both start off. Turn on either one or both to append the generation timestamp to the book title and downloaded filename using the WordPress site timezone.
Chapter navigation adds TOC at the end of chapters. Random is added only to books whose chapter order is Random.
Previous / Next adds sequential chapter navigation. Related chapter links to similar material using local text/tag analysis.
Topic index, TOC summaries, Sectioned TOC, People / Places / Concepts, Chronological index, Tag index, Reading trails, Reading time, Length index, and Concept map are optional discovery tools. They are all off initially and use local WordPress content analysis rather than an external AI service.
Front cover is the official ebook cover/thumbnail and gets EPUB/Kindle cover metadata. Back cover is optional and becomes the final page after chapters and back matter; it is never tagged as the library thumbnail. These deliberate cover assets are independent of the optional chapter featured-image setting; inline post-body images remain excluded.
Cover recommendation: for Kindle thumbnail reliability, use a portrait JPEG near 1600 × 2560 px. Amazon recommends a tall cover around a 1.6:1 height/width ratio.
Advanced edition builder contains preview/exclude/reorder, seeded random editions, saved presets, local EPUB validation, sample preview, manual title/metadata, date and word-count filters, duplicate warnings, custom front/back matter, statistics, category hierarchy, tags, multi-category collections, optional cover crop, edition IDs, and local download history. Every advanced feature starts OFF and is remembered after you enable it.
Generation progress shows a determinate build phase first, then switches to an animated Finalizing / validating phase instead of freezing near 94%. The elapsed timer keeps moving while WordPress finishes the request.
